Job Title: Shopify Developer with Frontend Experience

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shopify Developer with Frontend Experience to join our team. As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Shopify-based e-commerce websites and Shopify themes, ensuring a seamless user experience and exceptional performance. Your primary focus will be on frontend development and customization, leveraging your expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, and other relevant technologies.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Frontend Development: Collaborate with the design team to transform mockups and wireframes into fully functional, responsive, and visually appealing Shopify themes.
  • Shopify Customization: Customize and enhance existing Shopify themes to align with our clients’ brand identities and specific requirements.
  • Liquid Templating: Develop and modify Liquid templates to extend Shopify’s functionality and create bespoke e-commerce solutions.
  • Integration: Integrate third-party applications, Shopify Apps, and APIs to enhance the functionality and performance of Shopify stores.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance issues to ensure fast loading times and a smooth user experience across all devices.
  • Responsive Design: Create mobile-first designs and ensure seamless responsiveness across various screen sizes and devices.
  • Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ensure compatibility across multiple browsers, devices, and platforms.
  • Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of websites to identify and resolve any issues or bugs.
  • Code Quality: Follow best practices and coding standards to maintain clean, efficient, and scalable code.

 

Required Skills:

  • If you have approved HTML or React Template In ThemeForest that’s a huge plus.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery, JSON, Liquid.
  • Good experience in React for frontend development.
  • In-depth knowledge of Shopify theme development and customization.
  • Familiarity with Liquid templating language.
  • Great understanding of GraphQL for efficient data retrieval.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

 

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):

  • Experience with other e-commerce platforms and Content Management Systems (CMS) Like WordPress Woocommerce, Webflow etc
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce websites.
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles.
  • Familiarity with web accessibility standards.
  • Experience with performance optimization techniques.
